Viðmið fyrir foreldra á ensku / Guidelines for parents in English

Viðmið fyrir umfjöllun um börn á samfélagsmiðlum ætluð foreldrum.

Fyrr á þessu ári gáfu Barnaheill, Fjölmiðlanefnd, Heimili og skóli, SAFT og Unicef á Íslandi út viðmið fyrir umfjöllun um börn á samfélagsmiðlum. Viðmiðin eru  hugsuð sem heilræði fyrir foreldra og aðra aðstandendur barna. Nú hafa viðmiðin verið gefin út á ensku.

Earlier this year Barnaheill – Save the Children Iceland, the Media Commission, Home and School, SAFT (Safer Internet Awareness), the Ombudsman for Children, and Unicef Iceland published guidelines for parents and guardians on public discussion about children on social media. The guidelines have now been published in English.

Parents and guardians of children are encouraged to think carefully before sharing posts about their children on social media and be mindful of the right of the child to respect for both private and family life.
